    Hi All,
I'm totally new to Android and not overly technical.
I've a problem I'm hoping someone can help with (if you can help please provide an idiots guide as I've trawled the net it's all way over my head with root this and that).
In relation to my work I have the need to send and receive video files via bluetooth to my workmates handsets.
Never had an issue in the past with Nokia "talking" to Blackberry etc (except I-phone which is a toy as far as I'm concerned) but my X10 will not receive.
I keep receiving the same message on the handset "Sorry, the application settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again".
    FORCE CLOSE.
I have no idea what this means, any clues?
I hope it can be solved, especially as I went into "show off" mode at our first meeting with my new bit of kit!

It's not practical for us to exchange by swapping SD cards or using laptops as we are mobile and meet at various locations (plus why would I carry my laptop now I've got the X10).

Download the ES File Explorer Application from the Android market.
I have found that it is better at transferring file around than using the default settings inthe handset. This Application can use Bluetooth and WLAN for transferring files but the WLAN option is really only for networks.
You may need to play around with it a bit to get it to work for you.

Thanks for that but I can't find it!?
As I said, I'm new to this so please be patient.
I clicked on "market" on the handset and did a search but nothing similar to ES File Explorer comes back.
Should I be looking on the net? Worries me a bit downloading files from unknown sources as I have only just got the handset and don't want to trash it.
    Can you advise further?
    Cheers
    Kieran

Can't find that one either, aaaaaargh!!!
Why is it so difficult, you'd think they would pre-load this sort of.
The main reason I didn't bother with the I-phone was because it wouldn't do this and the camera was crap.
