Yes, Daniel, I think I understand what you are trying to do. But I don't think you need a list to do this. You just need a button component, which you mentioned and a label component. Let's say the label is called total. In the screen designer, give it a value of 0. Then in the blocks editor, drag out the buttonname.click block and put the blocks [set total.text to][ [ total.text] +  ] inside the click block. That would take 4 blocks.
Each time the button is pressed the label's value is increased by 1.
Separate names with a comma.
