    Is this finally working? I remember reading somewhere that there was issues with it. Anyways, here's my question. My router is g, but my laptop has an n card, so if I download a hydraulic kernel with n, will it connect to my router still, even though it is only g? Is it backwards compatible? Will I be able to transfer files wirelessly to and from my laptop at n speed instead of g speed?

    What about my laptop? I know the internet will be at g speed. That's cool. My main question is about the laptop. Will file transfer be at n speed or g speed? Wait a minute, what the hell am I talking about. It's only going to work as fast as the router, right? I'm having "a moment" or something.

    I have a few questions before I enable N. I was wondering if enabling N is a good idea.

    1) Does the Incredible have 2.4 and 5ghz radios?

    2) Does the Incredible have multiple radios dedicated to either band? Channel bonding is what gets the 130mb + speeds

    3) Does the Incredible have multiple antenna and are they separated enough to take advantage of the phasing that MIMO (N) offers? Wavelength: 2.4gHz = 0.125 metres (12.5cm or ~4in).

    It will only work at router's speed, which is G. Imaine this, your phone and laptop with wireless n are both connecting to a G router. So they will only work at G speed.

    All i know is, it has N capability, the reason it is not enabled is because HTC didnt include the driver. But upcomig OTA will enable it.

    i was trying this method.

    linux$ adb shell
    $ su
    # cd /system/lib/modules
    # /system/bin/cat bcm4329.ko > bcm4329.ko-orig
    # /system/bin/cat /sdcard/bcm4329.ko-11n > bcm4329.ko
    # /system/bin/ls -l
    -rw-r--r-- root root 217116 2010-04-06 13:42 bcm4329.ko-orig
    -rw-rw-rw- root shell 216716 2010-06-19 01:39 bcm4329.ko
    # /system/bin/sync

    but I keep getting "not enough space". i'm pretty sure it's not the sd card or phone memory.
    # exit
