    I have a new intercep and Im not recieving txt messages from outside sprint carriers.

    Friends recieve the msg 2114 error. which says "message sent using invalid numer of digits. please resend using 10 digit number or valid short code. Msg 2114"

    Ive talked to sprint CSR over phone and two sprint stores in person and they say its ATT or whoevers fault.

    I also have to power cycle randomly to get my browser working.

    This is the second intercept and still having the same issues.

    My number is not ported over I am a new customer with new number.

    sounds to me like your phone is not activated properly. my suggestion: activate a sprint phone to your account (any old phone). give it an hour or two then call back to sprint and activate your new phone. this should fix your issue.

    or better yet, when you activate your old phone, have a friend text message you (one that was having trouble) and then show the sprint rep that you CAN receive messages and that its either a problem with the samsung phone or the programming of it.

    process of elimination.
