Help!!

    ok so im sure this is a double post somewhere but i did a search and nothing came up on this and i dont have time to look thru every post so here it is...

    my yahoo acct is on my phone and for the past few days its not picking up my email... every time it try to refresh it says login failed... any idea how to fix it?!

    and theres a game ive been playing called quest... today i did an update and now every time i try to play i have to open it thru the andriod market bc when i tap on the icon it says its been removed... anyone know how i can get the updated version icon on my phone so i dont have to keep going thru market?

    For the Mail issue, try re-entering your username and password. Login failed is a message from the yahoo server actually saying that something is wrong with that information.

    As far as the game, press and hold on the icon from the home screen. When it vibrates drag it to the remove box. Then press and hold your finger in a blank area and select shortcut when the menu comes up. Pick the quest game from the list. Try the shortcut.

    If the shortcut you refer is not on the home screen but from the app menu, you'll probably need to remove and re-install the game to make it work. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the tips... buuut... ive tried re entering my email and pswd like at least a dozen times and nothin... im getting pretty frustrated bc i use my email too much for it to be messing up!!

    on the game... i will go ahead and try that... i hope i dont have to reinstall it!!

    oh and one more ?... whenever a text message comes in, is there a way to make the phone light up? sometimes i have it on the counter on vibrate and i can never tell if it goes off... any way for that to happen??

    If you use a replacement messaging program like Handcent you can set it to do so. You can download Handcent from the market.

    Mine did the same thing. (yahoo that is) You have to either turn the phone off and then back on or turn the internet off and then back on. Its crazy but it works.

    Areyou using or have your WiFi "on" when trying to access the Yahoo account? There is a known glitch which prevents this while using the POP settings. If you have a paid Yahoo account which uses IMAP then you don't have this problem. There are some posts here about getting around it.

    What I did was set up the account with WiFi off, change the settings to manual retrieval of mail. It should work, does for me. Check the forums here and see if you find anything on Mail/Yahoo, if not let us know, I will look then and re post it for you.

    I'm having the same issue. I configured my email to use Yahoo and it's been fine. I haven't logged on for a few days. Now when I attempt to log in (no change in configuration), I get the same issue.

    I've also tried to log on to yahoo via the browser to the mobile.yahoo.com and I get the same problem when I attempt to log in.

    that happend to me too, removed the account from the phone, restarted phone and went back to add it and it was fine.
