I just got my first Android phone, an X10 mini pro. Seems like a decent phone to me but from all accounts it's not a very good Android phone.

I'm in a position where i can return or exchange it but i'm a little stuck on what to do; keep it and trust se to roll out the update or send it back and get the wildfire or wait for the motorola droid x!

So i've had a taste of Android and i like it! :D

Like i said in my original post i am flip flopping over keeping the mini pro. All this flak SE are getting is pushing me towards sending it back but i like the phone as it is. However, once the grace period is up i am commited to a 2 year contract! So i have some concerns but i don't know where to ask.

    Greetings!
Now that you mention contract, ditch the X10
    Do not touch SE

That's what most people seem to be saying! Is it cause of the support/lack of updates or the hw itself? I read that it won't ever run Android 2.2 (i think, might have been 3.0) cause it only has 128mb ram so that's a big putoff. It doesn't seem like a bad phone but i've nothing to compare it to.

The only alternative Android phone from my provider is the htc wildfire but is that going to outdated in a years time? I wanted to get the samsung wave but my prov. has discontinued it so i'm looking for a good alternative...
