Hiding Accept/Decline Touch Screen Buttons When Receiving Calls

I would like to see who is calling, but only having the hard dedicated buttons to have the function of accepting and declining a call. I always hit decline on accident while texting and getting a call. Any ways to modify that?

Those dedicated green/red buttons are one of the reasons I bought the phone verses the new iPhone, because I had that same problem with my old iPhone, and just to state, I don't understand why HTC new phone models don't include those dedicated buttons but instead these goffy buttons like search, and home, etc. Which are OKAY, but silly.
