So just to recap the last while: Rogers will be getting the Sony X10, The Acer Liquid E, The Samsung Galaxy Spica, and at least one of the the Motorola Quench, Backflip, and/or Dext. All of these phones are in theory coming by mid 2010 which by my count is coming up pretty soon (Although given its track record I would predict the X10 to come out sometime in mid 2015).

Which of the moto phones do you prefer?

What phone should rogers try to cram into their lineup next?

Rogers needs to offer _Google-Branded_ phones without the fancy shiny UIs, so that we can be better sure that we will get future OS updates the phones can support.

Rogers also needs to start picking phones that come with the latest OS, not an out-of-date OS.

The X10 will debut with 1.6, and SE won't confirm whether or not _Rogers_ X10s will get 2.0. They also say 2.1 is "beyond" them at the moment.

The Acer Liquid E will have Android 2.1, don't know about a UI yet, and the hardware won't be quite as good as the X10.

It comes down to this; which would you prefer, the better hardware, but no guarantee of OS updates, or slightly inferior hardware, but the latest OS and better chance at future updates?

Myself, I want a phone that will allow me to use the newest apps that require the newest OS.

I have a blog post about it here: I Want My One Point Six - Demanding Android 1.6 for our Rogers HTC Magic & Dream, and LG Eve Phones

100% agree with MJSchmidt. Rogers "MUST" offer a Google Experience / Branded phone otherwise a phone with a ROM customized for Rogers is wasted effort.

Totally agree but as we've seen with flash, we're getting to a point where the hardware is more directly affecting the software capabilities. So I want both hardware and updates and I don't think it should be too much to ask.
