i saw some ads and videos on the odroid, and wondered why its being made. Gaming on Android isnt that special, so why make a gaming device with no good games to play?

I did hear some rumors about Gameloft porting their games to Android. If we could get some of their quality 3D games, than i think we'd be in business.

Android has some great games on it but count me out of this kind of device. I like games that are suited for the system. If I need to buy and attachment just to fell comfortable playing a game then I don't want that game.

P.S. As far as games go here is a video of some nice games.

I don't get it too. Most of 3D games for android are slow and laggy and if you want to play 2D games you can do it even with the cheapest android phone.

It would make a great little homebrew/emulation machine like the GP2X and the like.

The GP2X really sounds great but it based on linux and not Android.Much more people use Linux that Android so if you will make an emulator for linux more people will use it.

    Android IS based off Linux.
Android uses a modified version of the linux kernel.
