Horrible UPS/bestbuy experience!!

    Hey everyone I ordered an htc evo from bestbuy.com on 6/21 I got a tracking number saying delivery date 6/28. Come delivery date I check my tracking number and it says out for delivery at 534 am so I'm here waiting patiently and nothing comes, I say ok it'll be here tommorow come tomorrow no evo, I call ups to see where my package is, and all they say is " it is in the drivers truck on the way to you." I argue tell them that I've been hearing it for the past few days n nothing. They finally realize somethings wrong and ask me to call bestbuy to file a "tracer" I do turns out bestbuy did not go through with their word until I called and complained to a supervisor. So now I'm here stuck having to wait 8 business days to get any responce.. I know the package was either lost or stolen so I'm not keeping my hopes up that it comes up I just want a refund any opinions?

    I would say wait 8 business days.... and cross your fingers for that other package to show up within this period this way you have 2 Evo :D one for sale and one for you to keep!

    You shouldn't shop at Best Buy or trust anything they ever tell you. That's my advice. You'll learn this on your own soon enough.

    Why blame Best Buy thats what tracking is for. Obviously it made it to the truck, after that who knows....sounds like a UPS problem

    complain enough to the manager from Best Buy and get something in return for this hassle.

    wow, had a bad experience with Best Buy getting my wife's Evo, I somehow got it the day promised but here's the story:

    Purchased over the phone, twice gave the agent my mailing address. All seemed good, the very last question he asked me was what's my email address. Give him it and bam that's where it all went crazy. I'm assuming because my email address has my old mailing address (five years removed) the computer decided it should go there.

    Did not find out till I got home after work and saw it was being shipped to wrong address, by then it was already out of shipping and on it's way from Illinois. Called Best Buy roughly five times to have them contact UPS and change address. They said they would, well they didn't. Fortunately when they tried to deliver to wrong address it was rejected and I was able to contact UPS and schedule a pick from the Distro Center. So got the phone same day as promised, but spent a total of 2 hours over the five calls and having to drive out of my way to get that phone. You suck Best Buy, but thanks for the phone and not having to send in a rebate:D

    Never again will i do business with best buy, nothing but lies lies lies, i for one Hate UPS with a passion as they either lose my deliverys or deliver it later then promised

    Fedex on the other hand nothing but great experience

    JoFox- i would be happy if that were the case but they are not in stock, and they have me here waiting 8 days simply for a refund

    Mt2525-I am aware it is UPS's fault but Best buy customer service is HORRIBLE

    Mtrajano-Ive simply tried and i get the same responce from each "sir i am so sorry about your situation, i would be angry as well if i was in your position, but there is nothing we can do but file the trace (took 3 days just to file a simple trace) and wait 8 business days"

    Vgsantiago- sorry about your experience but i wish that was the case for me also, got on the truck for delivery at 5 A.M n all of a sudden became LOST? how does that happen?
