I keep seeing custom docks with text in them instead of icons. How is it done? I like the look.

you need to install a new home launcher on your phone and then you can use all of those sexy text icons :) i use and love Launcher pro. the linked article just explains why it's so awesome. you an find the actual app in the market. highly recommend it.

    good luck!

Right. As far as I know, Launcher Pro is the only launcher able to have custom icons. Sorry, I left that part out. As a matter of fact, my LPP's dock is set to transparent. Against my live wallpaper (Galaxy Core Donation), I think it looks really nice.

Do I just load it like I would a ROM or THEME? Put the unzipped file onto my SD and then reboot with bootstrapper then just load .zip from SD?

You long press on the Icon you want to change and select custom. Pick the icon from your gallery.

Ahhh. Didn't realize these were literally just PNG images. I thought I had to do some fancy load work to get the file on my phone. haha

  12. Since these are just .png files how big do they need to be exactly? Maybe I can make my own icons

And the psd for the TallMin icons is located here. I use it to make the colors of the text match perfectly with other wallpapers/widgets, etc. that I am using and also to create custom ones for apps that aren't in the zip files. Just load it into Photoshop, change the text/color and you're good to go.

I can't see the .png files after choosing to use a custom icon. Do you have to change them to a .jpg extension or something? My steps.

    1. Downloaded the zip file
    2. Extracted files
    3. Moved to my DCIM folder
    4. Placed all the .png files in my camera folder.
    5. Long pressed a dock icon
    6. Chose custom icon
    7. Once the gallery opens I can see all my pictures that are in the same folder as the .png files, but not able to see or chose a .png file.

    Any ideas??

That's odd. That's exactly what I did. Worked for me. Except I didn't move them to my DCIM folder. I made a new "my pics" folder on my SD card and put the PNG's there. Try that. Worked for me.
