How do I create a shortcut to my photos

I created a folder on my main page for my frequently used apps. One of the things I would like quick access to is my photos.
Is there a way to make a shortcut to the photos folder without me having to launch the camera application everytime to get to the photos folder?

Just add 'Gallery' to your page.
