how do i delete ota since im already rooted

    i am running 2.2 alread rooted. but keep getting a reminder to update to 2.2 ota. does anyone kno how to stop the reminders and delete it

    I have had it come 2 times now after installing it and having it fail, if it comes back a third time I may try renaming the file per Supersaki' idea:

    ***DISCLAIMER, I HAVE NOT TRIED THIS***
    "SystemUpdater.apk : OTA updater for 'offical' ROMs (Not used by CM) "
    from the cyanogenmod wiki.. if you are feeling adventurous, use root explorer to rename systemupdater.apk to systemupdater.bak and see if the notifications go away.

    I have installed it twice and the recovery blocked it but it returned.

    I'm running UD7 (FRG22) and I simply did a nandroid, then hit install...this prompted the install and went into Recovery which would in turn fail, then rebooted, and voila.

    if you're running BBv0.4, go to petes's site: www.peteralfonso.com there is a patch w/ instructions.. worked on mine and my wife's droid
