Root how do i turn s-on

Ok.I am back to stock recovery ,unrooted but i need to turn s-on.I have to return phone for blown speaker.I have downloaded the s-on tool but dont know how to apply it.can any onr help ?

I believe it works the same was as when you installed unrevoked forever. Place it in the root dir of the sdcard, name it update.zip, then apply it from clockworkmod.

I'm not positive, though.

Yes, download the son.zip file from unrevoked forever, and apply it using the same install steps listed in the doc.

I ran it and got an error.signature verificaton failed.

I believe you need root. You should S- on then flash and unroot back to stock.

We don't need anyone acting like they are better than one another, and we certainly don't need someone who is providing help (even if it wasn't in the nicest manner) to be called a smart ass. Sorry, but to be honest I don't like being called a smart ass after I just typed out this long explanation spoon feeding information to him that have been answered before, AND can be found by doing a little searching. You might want to search around a little bit, there was a sticky a while back that said people would be banned for snapping at new people, telling them to search etc. Just saying...be careful

I didn't snap at any one, though man. I answered his question, and did not realize until I said it that he was new. Otherwise I certainly wouldn't have been as harsh or told him to search. Either way, he called me names, that is the only reason I became upset.
Either way, to the OP this is a formal apology.
I did not realize that you were new.
and going back could have answered in a better fashion, either way.
