My wife uses the Tango app and says she can chat with her brothers (all iphone users) with no problems.

+1 on the Tango app- use it with a friend with an i-phone and another with a Moto droid- sometimes there are lags, but pretty good, and free!

Oovoo works well too. You just have to create an account with minimal details, and you can video chat with anybody else that has the app on their phone or computer. You can even switch which camera you're using on the fly, a feature that could be very useful.

I did a search in the market and can't find it.

You know that the o's are letter O's, right? Not the number? Just type "oovoo" in the market search and it will be the first one. It will be "ooVoo Video Calls."

Yeah. Im thinking that since my eris don't support it thats why i cant find it. Im thinking about getting the charge so i was doing some reading.

I have tried Qik (sp?) and Tango both... Tango gives like an echo, squeal, screeching bird sound when I have tried it twice with my wife. She has a Charge as well.

Uninstalled them both, still looking for a workable solution. The oovoo sounds like its worthy of a try.

I have the same problem with Tango. From my research online, it appears to be a common problem, perhaps something to do with the multiple mics on the Charge. I read a post somewhere from a Tango dev that they are working on a complete overhaul of the audio system.

Yes, yes, ooVoo is quite good, because you can talk with up to six people in one group, but there are some others: Skype, Fring, Tango, GTalk (But I don't know if you can use that with iPhone, iPad etc.) I hope these help... :)
