How do you scroll within a window/text box?

    In the browser, if you are replying to a thread or if someone posts a picture and it's bigger then the window...on a computer you will get a separate scroll bar for that window...you guys know what I'm talking about?

    On the iPhone you can use two fingers and it will scroll that separate window separately from the main window. How do you do this on the Captivate?

    Do you mean zooming? If so pinch inwards and it will make the webpage larger.

    If that isn't what you mean, then I don't know.

    Ive had trouble when trying to place the cursor in forum reply boxes occasionally. It will keep centering the box so I cant place the cursor

    Thats a perfect example...how do you scroll within a reply box? Especially if you are quoting someone and there is a lot of text in the box?

    Yet another incomplete yet basic feature. This is a android issue and not samsung.

    That's one thing I miss from the backflip with the physical keyboard. In that case, I could use the directional arrows.

    Does anyone have a Nexus One, or another device with a trackball and 2.1 that could test if scrolling down works in those instances?

    If you're using Swype, Swype from the Swype key to the SYM key (one key to the right) to bring up the Swype editing tools, which includes a virtual d-pad. It's a bit of a clunky solution but yeah =/

    If you're in a single-row input field, though, you can just tap and hold/drag to scroll along it.

    Awesome. You helped me figure out how to paste into a quick office document. Use Swype, which is already my favorite keyboard. D pad is great find too. Thanks.

    using the samsung keyboar, tap and hold the 123 key and you get a directional pad and copy paste functions.
