How do you stop pics posting on Google +

    How can I turn off my pictures being posted on Google plus?

    What's your gmail address? Haha, just kidding.

    Do you have Instant Upload enabled on your phone? (Menu > Settings then scroll down)

    Instant upload pics are private by default, and can only be seen if you then choose to share them.

    I find it really annoying too. I like the fact that my photos are backed up online instantly but I don't want it to be in posts. I don't think I ever changed instant upload setting but it's going to posts and shared with my circle. I wish uploads are saved in my album not posts...

    I go to settings but then what? I don't have "Instant Upload" setting anywhere. What exactly should I be looking for?

    Settings > Accounts & sync > Google > Instant Upload

    I am finding though that Instant Upload takes forever. Even when it is done, it is still syncing. Don't know why, and it is getting irritating.

    why do you do that? you can upload you picture to other website
