Is there a way or a place on this phone where you can just type a internet site address into a bar and get it? For example an "address bar" like on your computer where you can just type in say - [IMG]wwwdotebaydotcom and go right to the site instead of going through the search?

Just type it into the big Google search bar on your home screen.

Hit "menu" when in the browser and then hit "go". You can type in a url. Not the most intuitive or well-labeled feature.

In Dolphin (not sure about the in-built browser), that little Search button at the top-left corner of your keyboard brings up the address bar. Handy fast way to enter an address if you're already in the browser, and faster than the Menu/Go method.
