How fast is the Wi-Fi at your local hotspots?

Just out of curiosity, how fast is the Wi-Fi at the hotspots that you connect to most often?

Work and a gas station both use DSL but they are no faster than my home internet (WISP) at only 1.5mbps down, .5mbps up. I live in a rural area where the Samsung Galaxy phone still sells new with Android Froyo. We are about three years behind most new tech. The Galaxy Tab 2 i have now took a long drive into the next town

At my home I have AT&T uverse. I have the 24mbs package. I never see less than 20. I don't use wi-fi in public places and such. To risky.

In my country there is 'telenet homespot', which I use a lot. Everyone who has 'telenet' sends out a private wifi signal and a public wifi signal. Everyone with a telenet account can log in in these public signals with up to 60 mbps (some 30 mbps, but thats the lowest). Because of this I have like 4 homespots in every street

Other hotspots work fast aswell actually, I can't complain.
