    In anticipation of my long overdue and delayed X10 I am wondering how long you guys gave it on first charge before you started using it...

    I used it whilst charging it though was limited on what I could do for first two days while O2 sorted my tariff out from an iPhone one to a normal and put data on

    If my experiences are anything to go off however long you charge it for, it won't be long before it needs to go back on charge. Battery life is my biggest gripe on the phone

    I did the decent thing and let it charge for 12 hours before I touched it. Didn't expect the battery performance to be great, based on past experience with smartphones, especially the Hero. But, considering it's a 1500mAhr battery, disappointed so far. Hoping with a few more charge cycles it will get better! ;)

    I probably put it to charge overnight then, after I've had a little play with it first ;)

    How long are you guys finding it takes to drain the battery from a full charge?

    Well the online mauel doesn't say how long, which I find odd since it;s meant to say!?

    I did go online and found this:

    Connect the charger to the phone. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery. However, you can interrupt charging at any time without damaging the battery. The battery is fully charged when the battery icon stops flashing. Remove the charger by tilting the plug upwards.
    If the battery is totally discharged, the phone will not show any indication of charging. However, the phone starts to charge immediately when you put it into the charger. It can take up to 30 minutes before the phone indicates that it is really charging (the battery indicator in the display lights up). To see the battery indicator after 30 minutes, you may need to press a key because the phone can go into "sleep mode" during charging.
    Note: Always use a Sony Ericsson charger when charging your phone. Other brands may cause errors in the phone. The warranty does not cover product failures caused by the use of other brands

    But doubt 2 and 1/2 hours would be enough on the first charge! Usually about 12hrs for the first???

    Aaaah, the million dollar question! Depends on how much you use it! I reckon so far;

    1 hour of wifi.
    1 hour of phone calls.
    10 texts.

    Down to 30% in 12 hours.
