So, here's a little story. I was browsing domain names, looking to see whats taken etc. Well, I then log into my email account from a separate window, and in my inbox page, low and behold, the advertisement window at the top says the domain name I searched on register.com, and "don't let it get away?"

That just shows reading cookies/history is getting more and more integrated with our browsing experience and advertising. Soon you'll do a google search for places to eat, and in another website it'll say xxx has cheeseburgers on sale.

I'm waiting for the ads that threaten to tell your friends all the salacious websites you've been looking at unless you buy their product.

They can tell all they want, my friends all know what sites I go to! I send them links to the best ones, LOL!

Google is a big part in that, they track every search and then aim the ads towards what you search.. I personally don't mind, but even the suppliers of our loving android are pretty harsh on privacy
