I'm up to 2 pulls and I've owned it for around two hours. The first pull was when the touch screen kept pressing 's' over and over again non stop while I was setting it up at the store. The second was when the interface stopped responding while I was copying my music to the SD card while trying to use Google Maps. Coming from a Blackberry battery pulls are nothing new but I wonder how many of us have had to pull the battery.

It's probably my spamming the screen with commands that is causing my problems.

I had to do one at 11:00 pm last night, on my BB Curve just before I got my Droid.

Now, only looking a single day of use (but pretty hard use, and apps on/off, etc) but zero problems so far.

are there any battery pull apps for the android...i'm coming from blackberry, so quickpull and meterberry come to mind...any apps like these out there?

  12. I've had to pull the battery so many times that I keep the back off when I'm messing with it.

It could be possible to run a reboot script if you have root, instead of removing the battery

Just pulled it once to charge up the extra battery. No crashes so far (well, one program stopped working, but it terminated with no issues).

I've had the fone for a couple days and its worked perfect. No freezing or sluggishness, everything is working fine. I have downloaded a nice ammount of apps and have widgets running wild. I love the fone, I think its amazing and I've owned anything hot except the pre.

Zero battery pulls required. Happy to not have that Blackberry "feature" any more.

However, did have one spontaneous reboot, can't remember what I was doing at the time.

No battery pulls. One thing that has happened though is that the browser seems to get stuck until I slide open the keyboard. Happened a couple times.

Seems you can do Shift+Alt+Del (Backspace) to reset it.

I discovered this the fun way, e.g., wondering "hey, I bet this key combo does something." Turns out yes :D I'm new to Android here, obviously.

Haven't had to as of yet... I don't know what to do with my self. After having the Storm I have been used to doing 2-3 pulls a day.
