I've been waiting for almost 3 weeks to order an evo and yet they're still out of stock... I'm guessing it's got something to do with the fact that HTC are "revising" the build but damn, how long can it take.

    High demand, Low supply.

Have you tried going to a best buy, radio shack, or sprint store? All three near me have them in stock.

I have been a sprint customer for years too and I got mine at radio shack with no difficulty at all. I got my prior phone -touch pro from best buy and before that other phones from radio shack and best buy.

So you have been depriving yourself of EVO bliss, because you thought you could only purchase from sprint?!!!

You better run not walk, to Bestbuy, or radioshack, & get yourself a EVO... plus you won't have to deal with a mail in rebate

No you don't. I was on a sprint plan with my parents for 10 years and have been on my own plan for 3. I bought mine at radio shack for $199 with no issues as have many others. Being a sprint customer does not tie you into buying only from sprint. Other retail outlets that have the phone have the same capabilities as sprint for people upgrading your phone.

Now go to best buy or radio shack and get your phone!
