I am the kind of programmer that has to code to learn something(eg the Android framework). Only through coding I can learn something really well. I've gone through the "building your first app", "managing the activity lifecycle" classes from the developer.android.com website. But it seems that up next are some classes that just tell you stuff without making you code it. I was very pleased with the "building your first app" class. I simply can't read stuff non-stop without applying it in some way. And I want to create something palpable(eg building a snake app from scratch, a notepad app from scratch, etc) that involves more concepts being applied to it, not just ones from individual classes. My question is, could you please tell where I could find some kind of tutorial that makes me code? (keep in mind that I barely know anything about the Android framework so I would need some guidelines, exactly like in the "building your first app" class) Or some way that I can learn to code for Android by, well.. Coding? I know my question is kind of .. ambiguous, so please don't rant about it.
