After my first encounter with a dying phone at a crucial moment, I've decided to break down and buy a spare battery. 2, actually, since I got 2 batteries plus a wall dock so they can charge when not in the phone. Gotta love eBay. So my question is, what is the best way to carry them? I usually have a backpack with a separate lined pocket for "media devices" that I carry my phone in, would dropping the battery in there be fine? I know you don't want metal to touch the contact points, and my cell phone is the only thing in there at any time, so that's not much of a concern. The other idea I found online was to put tape across the contact points to prevent them from being short circuited. I've looked all over, but can't find anything about carrying cases for loose batteries (I'm imagining something similar to the plastic carrying cases for loose GameBoy games). Does anyone have any ideas? I have the EVO and got 1500 batteries, if that makes a difference.
