how to convert onto a memory card

i have a lg optimus gt540 and i'm running out of space for apps so how do i convert them onto my memory card???

In order to move apps from your phones internal memory to SD card your phone must be running Android 2.2. Be advised, however, that only some apps are capable of running from your SD card. In the Android Market you can find an app called APP2SD, this app can be utilixed to facilitate the migration.
