How to correct wifi issues on your milestone.Support

    Last week I bought the bright and shiny milestone with great expectations, it as far surpassed them, except for one field and an important one in fact. WiFi, since my carrier Telus doesn't have unlimited data plans for 3G like it did for my old non-3G HTC Touch Diamond, i want to utilize WiFi as much as possible.

    I was getting connected to my network at home, but no data being transmitted in any direction.. after countless trips to the store I purchased it, and recieving a new handheld. still no real connection to the network, or any avalible networks.

    after downloading the WiFi Analyzer app, I noticed several other channels broadcasting the same, or close to the same channel as my network. after changing my channel to a somewhat clean one, i have been wifi-ing for 45 minutes, as compared to 20 seconds previously.

    I hope this helps anyone in the same situation, without the dreadful thought of talking to motorola or returning your device.
