Help How to DELETE OLD thumbnails from sd card where actual PIC was deleted WHY before?

HTC SENSATION 4G: 1 month old.. Plugged phone into computer using "Disk Drive" "Mount as disk drive"

I discovered that ALL the pics that I deleted way before still have their thumbnails in the DCIM/.Thumbnails/

They do NOT show ON the phone anywhere except as if they are stored on the SD card permanently?? HOW do I delete these ORPHAN thumbnails? Can it be done ON the phone? or only thru the computer? How??

You can do it on your computer , or if you have something like esfileexplorer you can use that .

Not sure I understand. You mean if I just delete it when viewing as ""Mount as disk drive" that it will delete it from the Phone itself? Is it automatic? Just delete and unplug and it's done?
