How To Downgrade OS?

Hi, I recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Europa from 2.1 to 2.2 via Kies and I absolutely regret having upgraded because my phone has become so dreadfully slow, wifi keeps on saying error when trying to connect to the internet every 20 hours or so, which leads me to have to switch the phone off & on again every single day, my apps keep on rearranging themselves and now my phone keeps on freezing on me. So can someone please help me? I just want to go back to 2.1.

Have you tried a factory reset? Perhaps it’ll load the original OS, then pester you to update, which can defeated (tap More Info then yank the battery, wait a bit, put it back and restart.

Factory resets generally don't downgrade the os


A rooted phone can do it by flashing an older ROM. There aren't any nn-root options
