I'll try to ask this question the best I can. I have an email with a link to a pdf file. When I click the link, its starts the download process, but then hangs at a white screen. I notice the first word in the web address is "secure", such as www.secure.anything.com. The same link opens flawlessly on a dinc, but won't open on an X. Is there some security setting that needs to be changed? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Have you installed a pdf reader? Check the market, there are several on there. You may have to do that first.

I tried two pdf readers with the same negative results. Then I tried a different browser and still no luck. However, I can open the file on my PC, download the file, then send it in a new mail as an attachment and it opens with no problem.

Could it be a browser setting? If you have pop-ups blocked, some pages load pdf's as a quasi pop up. You might try unchecking that (if it's checked) and see if it makes a difference.
