How to ensure my phone has no access to Facebook account

My phone was stolen recently, so I quickly changed the passwords for all the apps I have installed. However, I have heard that this will not automatically log me out of the Facebook app on the phone.

Is this true? And if so, how can I actually stop my phone accessing Facebook?

I think if you go to your facebook page through your pc then account -privacy settings-apps and websites-applications in use- find the phone applications that have access and remove them. Like htc sense, motoblur, samsung mobile, fb for windows etc. That might take care of it but I'm not 100% sure about that.

It's in my account > account security > Your recognised devices.

    thanks for your help guys.

i've been into privacy - 'apps you use' and removed htc sense, but i also had facebook for android installed, which doesn't seem to show up anywhere on my account. also, in 'account security' there is no list of recognised devices, so i can't remove anything from there.

does anyone know whether removing htc sense will also stop the app itself getting into facebook?
