My tablet is stuck in the home screen forever.
I tried to update the system several times but nothing works. I downloaded the latest version of the system in the manufacturer website, "u18gt-s_v1.03_20130228.img" and "U18GT2_V1.06_20130106.img".
I tried to update using "Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.7" but my computer, or any other computer can't recognize the tablet, so I can't update that way.
I tried a hard reset but it does't work.
I tried to update using a microsd card, but the tablet doesn't recognize the .img files.
I recorded some videos about the problem:

So, should I just throw it away?
=(

Basically yes. The software probably corrupted because of poor quality and B/C grade components, that's why they often brick and get stuck. These cheapo no-name tablets are so often just not supported by the manufacturers, who are frequently unknown. They make them and that's it.

You could try some other Rockchip tablet ROMs via the recovery, you've got nothing to lose from what I can see.
