    You two are free to exchange contact info and do whatever you would like outside of the forums. Nothing wrong with that I don't think. Personally it doesn't bother me one way or another but rules are rules

    I'm just speaking from experience on other forums as an acceptable way to talk about topics that are otherwise considered "taboo". That said, I really only spend time on car forums, so take it for what it is worth.

    Well if you get literal about the rules and guidelines you can talk all you want and not post links. It is just something you should not do however. I ain't the forum police, I was just letting the op know that it is frowned upon here.
