Probably got looked at and pulled. Kinda sucks. None the less, I'm sure something else of the like will show up eventually.

True... and I'm sure you can find it on Google somewhere.

Mental note to remind me to back mine up in the near future.

Yeah I had a friend that has Imusic but I couldn't find it in the market so I googled the apk and installed it off the SD card. Works great for me.

you can do it 2 ways, goto androidforums on your phone (i use dolphin browser which i find easier to dl with) and click the link that was given, it will download. (using dolphin browser) click menu>downloads>scroll to the bottom of the list to find ur latest dl and clck to install.

if you are on a PC, dl the apk and mount your phone. drag the file to folder on our phone that you will remember. download androzip (free from market) open androzip and locate the file. click the file and select install.

PM me if u need help or u need the imusictao.apk

I was an imusic, then tao user. Now neither show up in the market. However, I did find "music online lite" which seems to work even better than the others I used to use.

maybe these apps come and go each year due to various pressures?

You're welcome. Also, here is the iMusic Tao. This used to be the paid version of the iMusic though I can't find a significant difference:

Also try music junk....I have both and like music junk better.

    xda-developers - View Single Post - iMusic

Just keep the apk file and you can reinstall it if you ever upgrade your OS or install a new rom. Pretty important to do this if you like these apps since they arnt in the market anymore.

Supposibly its faster and shows more search results. Regardless thanks for the link, its alittle newer than the version I had.

music junk is back in the market (at least for my rooted hero). Where (or how) do I find the downloaded apk file? I have es file explorer and can't seem to find a directory that has all the downloads in it.

I realize someone posted an apk above for some programs, I'd like to know how to extract them from my phone as well.

    Thanks for help. Sean

You'll find the downloaded files on the "Downloads" folder in the root SD card...
