Help How to get regular Google calendar

I don't like the HTC mail or calendar apps. I'm a pure Google guy and like the Gmail and Google Calendar apps better.

My Evo has Gmail - switching to it was easy enough. But how the heck can I get Google calendar on this puppy?

Sorry if this is really n00by but... I'm a n00b.

If you have Google calendar items on the EVO, you're there. Have you set up a Google calendar?

Yeah, all five of my Google calendars show up on the Evo's calendar. Problem is, it's the HTC Sense Calendar App. I want the Google Calendar App.

Anyone know how to install this on Sense?

long press>add widget>Calendar (below it it says Android vrs the one that says HTC)

it has a blue top and a funky little circle thing on the calendar icon

That's just the widget, though. When you click on the widget, it still opens the same calendar app as the HTC widget.

Mine doesn't......completely different calendar.....I did dload the android launcher tho maybe it was in that.

Probably, I'm not using the Android launcher. I might try it now though if I can get a different calendar. The stock one okay but I'm sure there's better out there.

I don't use it either. Odd thing is...I always remember having two calendars....the HTC and Google. Though both similar they are different
