    Hi,
I've downloaded latest Android SDK but so far could see that emulator doesn't include preinstalled Google Apps on it as T1 has. Is it possible to download them (especially Google calendar) from somewhere and install? Or am I missing anything and just need special option during emulator launch?

    Hello,

Most pre-loaded G1 applications are absent from the emulator. It is possible to download the source, compile, and install those applications (or flash your emulator with the new image); however, I am not sure how much you would have to go through to sync an emulator with Google's servers to use Calendar et al.

Anyone else get syncing to work? It might just be a series of apk installs.

Yes, it seems that for that I need to build Android source myself under Linux/Mac.

It really sounds strange that such API is not part of current SDK.
