Cut a small 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch square of black tape and place it over the light sensor in the upper left corner just to the left of the verizon logo and the soft key lights stay on when the screens on and they turn off when you turn the screen off. Works perfectly and really doesn't look that bad. If you found this info helpful please click the " Thanks " in the bottom right corner

That works, but also doesn't it destroy the point of using auto-brightness? If you don't use that, and want the softkeys on all the time then that works.

I use a privacy screen protector, so usually the softkey lights are on. oddly the auto brightness still works fine too.
