I've downloaded a few free applications from the market for evaluation. After deciding that they were not what I was looking for I have uninstalled the applications. The problem is that they still show up under My Downloads in my Market app. Is there a way to remove lame programs from that list? Thanks in advance.

Just want to follow up with anyone else looking for this same topic. I found a reference on the Android developer forum that said these items should clear themselves out after 24 hours. That was not happening for me, however fully powering off the phone and then back on did clear the items out. Hopefully the next OTA update will resolve the need to power cycle the phone.

Mine disappear after a time without having to reboot the phone. I think it takes longer than 24 hours.

You can get rid of the uninstalled apps from the list by going to the settings>applications>manage applications, look for the market app and clear the cache.
