The problem with many of these Chinese knock-offs, from unknown manufacturers, there is just no rooting information available for them at all.

You could try a universal rooting tool like SuperOneClick.

Do you know which 'Chinese' phone it is? I only use it when I go to Cyprus due to the dual sim and being able to use my sim and a cypriot sim... great feature, but annoying that most can't Root.

I use a Cubot C7, cheap and chearful does what it says on the tin! I have root programme, but don't know how to run it?

I know exacly what phone this is... i just bought one.... its a copy of the xiao-mi mi-one... its ics... took me five minutes to root it using this method...

i couldn't find the adb drivers for the phone but pdanet has universal adb drivers so if you install pdanet and follow installation instructions, it will detect and install the proper adb driver needed for the rooting process... good luck! :)

PdaNet+ -- Internet Sharing for Android

Note: If I'm wrong about the phone model, this method will root pretty much any ics phone...

I have a star b63m china phone, dual sim too and I have rooted it a long time ago using superoneclick, its indeed superONEclick and you are rooted, it worked for me and maybe for most people but it dont mean it would work for all.

All you do it to download the software, connect your phone and click... but read enough information around online before you try to do something and follow any instruction as best as you can, rooting is nothing big tho but its always good to be aware of the process and turn outs.
