I need help going from a stock SBF 2.1 to ver. 2.2. I've read all day trying to figure this out. I even donated and installed The Black Hat app and downloaded (DX-2313-Deodexed.zip)

    Heres what I did...
    1. Rooted with UniversalAndRoot
    2. Installed Koush Recovery
    3. Installed The Black Hat
    4. Downloaded DX-2313-Deodexed.zip from TBH
    5. Rebooted into Koush's recovery, and followed the instructions to install (wipe data, wipe cache, mount sys, install .zip file)

I get stuck at the 'M' logo every time, wait 10-20 minutes and nothing. Battery pull will also do nothing.

Please help! I do not want to SBF and take the OTA.

the problem is that you need to install 2.3.9 before 2.3.13. 2.3.9 has the froyo kernel that is required for any froyo rom. Its in rom manager free under stock images. Its the only option.

In regards to your current issue of being stuck at the moto logo you are going to have to sbf and start over.

Makes perfect sense. Thank you very much

And let Rom Manager install it as well? or use Koush's bootstrap?
