I've seen a couple of threads about how to turn off different radios and data connections but does anyone know how I'd go about shutting off everything except for wifi?...Pretty much what I want is airplane mode with wifi still on. (Or does airplane mode still allow you to turn on wifi?)

    Thanks guys!

I was just on a flight and needed to do this. It is exactly as you said it.

Go into airplane mode first and then go into settings and turn on wifi. Wifi will be the only thing on

Why didn't the OP just follow his own steps (Airplane --> Wifi on) in order to test the theory before posting. Posting took longer.

Leave him alone. Not everyone is an ubernerd! He asked for help and I was happy to oblige.
We don't need opinions like that here!

I tried this at my house just for fun... called my cell number and "busy signal". Shouldn't it go to voicemail?

Ok, I guess I dialed the wrong number when I setup my google voice account, now fixed (google voice tells you the *71 with your cell phone number)
