I have a good WiFi connection, but my browsing seems like it is going over the cellular connection. How can I force it to go via my WiFi, or can I? It just seems very slow, no different from being in the car.

If your connected to WiFi the 3G/1xx icon should disappear and you will see the WiFi icon which is a little dot with three curved lines above it. Also if you are on WiFi then 3G stops working automatically.

Download the speedtest.net app by Ookla and see what speeds your getting.

Crappy signal most likely. I get around 2Mb down at home, and I have a 10Mb cable connection.

If you REALLY want to be sure, put it in Airplane mode, then enable wifi. That will ensure you're on wifi.
