Hello, I am trying to download a beta app from my university as i am one of the priviledged few who have this opportunity. I downloaded the app from an internet website but my phone will not let me open the app because it was not downloaded from Google Play/Android Market. Please Help!

Hi there, welcome to the forums :)

You might need to enable 'Unknown Sources' in your settings in order to install non market apps. If you go to settings > applications there should be an option to tick 'Unknown Sources' and hopefully that should then let you install the app you need.

Let us know how you get on :)

Go into settings | security and make sure the checkmark next to unknown sources is clicked. Then you should be all set.
