Howto unroot

    Hello,

    i know i saw a thread somewhere, but i cant find it anywhere! Is there a way to unroot a phone, in order to download official the update that i have for my phone?

    No need to unroot. You can download official update without unrooting. However, your phone will get unrooted after installing the official update.

    Isn't it available over the air (System > About phone > System updates)? What is your phone's build number and firmware configuration version? You can find those in System > About phone too.

    i connect my phone to the Motorola Update service and shows that there are not any updates available. I thought that if you rooted your phone to another service version, then you had to unroot it in order to get an update.

    Nope. If it says that there are no updates available then your phone is already up to date. But post your phone's Build Number and Firmware Configuration Version so that I can confirm.

    ok thanks, i thought that if you root your phone, you didnt get any updates.
