I've absolutely no idea if this is a well known fact or not, but it seems that sometimes, when autocorrect on an HTC phone offers an alternative word as you type, it's not always random. In fact, it seems whoever programmed the dictionary had a bit of a sense of humour. (I apologise in advance to anyone who's never seen the TV show Friends, as this little in joke will mean nothing to you!) Anyway, tonight I was just texting a mate and typed in the name "joey". Autocorrect predicted the name, but also offered a second suggestion of, incredibly, "howyadoin"! How brilliant is that? Someone, somewhere, must have deliberately programmed the dictionary to offer that as an option, just so that one day someone would randomly come across it. Whoever you are, I salute you. You made my day. (No, it doesn't take much to please me!) Anyone ever come across any other examples of this?
