HTC Customer Service and battery issue

    Hey everyone,

    So I just got off the phone with the HTC service specialist and was asking about the battery life issue. He stated that they are currently aware of the issue and are currently working on a software fix to help remedy the issue. He didn't give me a date of when that will occur but mentioned that I would receive a message from the phone that there is a software update available. I also had him take down my email and they will send me an email when that has been released. He did also mention that Sprint is in fact having issues with their network and the cell towers. I asked him if that issue was only a 4G issue because if it was it isn't affecting me because I'm in San Diego and they have not yet implemented the 4G here. Just thought I would share the news.

    Oh! That's fantastic news! My mother and I both just got new phones (me the Evo, her the Samsung Moment) and have been having troubles with Sprint's coverage. I'm down to one bar in my damn house when I used to have full. And she can't access the marketplace off wi-fi. We were worried it was the phones, but I'm glad to hear it's Sprint.

    I'll be so glad when they fix the battery problem. I love everything about this phone but having to re-charge 2-3 times a day really sucks.

    Hopefully they're aware that syncing a flickr account causes the calendar app to prevent the phone from sleeping. Took me three days to figure out that's why my awake time was the same as my up time!

    They told me yesterday that it was either a faulty battery or the wiring in the phone. They suggested I get a new battery and if that did not work to geta new phone.
