First off, if there is already a topic about this, I apologize, I searched the forums and never found any thing with this in the subject.

From what I have read about the HTC Desire, it comes with Android OS 2.1 but it is supposedly upgradeable to 2.2. My service is through Cellular South and I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to upgrade to 2.2, if this is even possible.

    Thanks

If you debrand or unbrand you can put latest version on. Providing you can't wait for your carrier to release. Search that term on this forum

No you cannot, your phone is CDMA and you will have to wait for Cell South to release it, every upgrade thread here is for the GSM phone, if you try to use one of those you will BRICK your phone, if you do a search you will find TWO threads already about the CDMA Desire and how everyone want's updates but cannot do anything until their carrier releases it!!!!
