Canada's leading cell phone provider (SN Traders) Has the HTC Desire HD in stock and available for sale. I have provided the link below. I have been reading a lot about why this wont work on "3G" in Canada.

I called SN traders today and asked them about this and some lady couldnt really give me a straight forward answer.

Can someone take a look at the specs posted by sn traders and tell me if this will work (talk and 3G) in canada on "fido"?

It is the same version as the European version. It won't work with any of the Canadian carriers' 3G bands.

You can also try this tool, it's pretty cool.

    Isn't a 1000$CAN a bit pricey for the device?

Due to the nature of the link and you having one single post, I'm going to copy and paste those specs onto here, which could have easily been done.
