HTC Desire Message app jumps back to top of thread
Since I've installed 2.2 the message app on the desire jumps to the top of a message thread randomly while I'm writing a message meaning I have to scroll to the bottom again. This can be very annoying in thread which I have lots of messages. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    This happens to me too.

Not found a solution yet but it always seems to be when I mishit something, so I'm trying to figure out if there's a shortcut to jump to the top of the list that HTC haven't told us about!

I am finding this quirk frustrating as well....

Does anyone have a workaround for this problem or are we resigned to waiting for a patch to fix this as well as other Froyo update issues?

Press back, then re-enter the message stream. And your back at the bottom!

Same issue here, I've been using Gingerbread. I think the preliminary cause makes sense, exceeding the initial 160 character limit.
