Help Htc Desire not connecting with computer

I have a really messed up phone. The current weather doesnt update anymore... its stuck at a place I live in 6 months ago.
I bought a game and it won't download
When i try to open up my email it only lets me create a new one
And every now and then it resets all my contacts.. oh and it doesn't sync with facebook anymore..

SOOO, I decided maybe it's time I debugged it by plugging it into the computer. Unfortuunately i lost my usb thingy so I bought a new one. But now I plug it in and my computer recognizes something is there but doesn't know what it is, and my phone charges. And YES I do have The debugging thing turned on and YES I have allot of space since I deleted all my games just to try and download this one.

Please help me, I'm not sure whats wrong... do you?

Hello and welcome to the forums.

What game is it you are trying to download? Have you downloaded anything recently that would cause your phone to play up?

You might want to try a factory reset?
